Super food "GREEN" smoothie

When I first heard about this smoothie, it sounded gross.  Blended up veggies???  Doesn't sound appetizing does it?  But its a weeks worth of fruits and veggies in one serving so I tried it, and I have to say that I have developed a love for it and drink it EVERY MORNING.

2 cups cold water
6 cups chopped spinach
5 cups chopped kale (you can substitute romaine lettuce)
1 fresh squeezed lemon
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1 ripe pear (chopped)
1 ripe apple (chopped...Gala apples are the best)
1 ripe banana

Pour 2 cups of water into a blender.  Add spinach & kale then blend.  Add the rest of the ingredients and blend.  This batch makes 4 servings.

*To give it a "Smoothie Consistency", add Ice and blend.
*To give it a sweeter taste add a splash of Orange Juice
